John and Karen Hockenberry have been full time Realtors for the past 19 years. Prior to coming into real estate, Karen was a Broadway Singer/Dancer for 10 years. In addition, Karen has been a Corporate Spokesperson and has appeared in numerous television Commercials. John was in the production end of Theatre and Film. He worked freelance for all the major networks and Public Television.  In Theatre, John worked over 200 different Broadway shows, numerous movies, commercials, Operas, Ballets and Rock Shows. and was a lead coordinator on the historic Live Aid Concert, the most viewed event ever in television.
Karen started at a  Boutique real estate company where she was taught Real Estate one on one by the Broker/Owner.  As Karen's business and productivity grew, she was recruited by Prudential Preferred Properties which later, by acquisition,  became Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors.
John started in real estate as a Commercial Realtor and served a 3 year tenure. His specialty became Land and he was soon recruited by Prudential Preferred Properties New Homes Division to find ground for new home subdivisions. John continues to sell land to both small builders and National clients such as Pulte Homes and Toll Brothers.
Producing all their own business led John and Karen to move up to RE/MAX, where with the great support of the RE/MAX organization and Broker/Owner support, an Agent can run their own business. This Team/Couple love to have their "feet to the fire" running a "the buck stops here" business, giving their Clients the best most responsible Real Estate services.
